I continue a talk about relativeness of [ The Night Porter ] and [ Junichiro Tanizaki ]today.

Do you know the film director[ Liliana Cavani ] of "The Night Porter"shot a movie[ The Berlin Affair ]?
This movie was remaked to "Manji"of his novel.
I remember that I've came across original piece of this movie was Japanease novel.
But unfortunately,I have never seen this movie.
And I sliped out of my memory before I knew it.

The other day,I remembered this movie suddenly.
I checked it on You Tube.
Japanease main actress Mio Takaki is a very beautiful!
I absolutely see this movie but there are nowhere in DVD...oniy tape.
This is moving image"The Berlin Affeir".



By the way,this movie is original novel"Manji".
hum...I'd like to see both.



I am so glad to have a chance to see Junichiro Tanisaki's novel at this late date.
