during the year-end and New Year.

I went into restaurant at the end of the year.
I saw this menu there.
"Jinniku-age"
This meaning is "human flesh flit".
"...hu...human flesh?!?!?!"
Of course,it was a joke.
"Ninniku-age" is realy menu.
This meaning is "garlic flit".


Next,on New Year's Eve.
【 LES DEUX MAGOTS 】 is the famous cafe in Paris.
This cafe have a presence in my neighborhoo.
I sat at a table on the patio with my dog.
My house is intown.
But there are many dog-friendly cafe in my neighborhood.
I'm luckey!


I go to cafe very often.
when I have something on my mind,
when I make some plan,when I prepare a document...
Occasionally,I go ahead my work at cafe than at home.

In this cafe menu is just like in Paris.
roast chestnuts,cafe au lait,sirup...
I drank a hot white wine.White is uncommon but it was delicious.


And New Year.
[Osechi]is traditional Japanese New Year's cuisine.
"Osechi"is all prepared before New Year's Day.
But at this moment,it's seem to be losing people who cock it.
If you go to department store's basement food floor,
you can buy good "osechi" easy.
And you can order also at restaurant in advance.
Modern people are busy,we have no choice.
Of course,I went to department store's basement food floor.

I have many favorite foods.
Two of them are [Yuba(Tofu skin)] and [Namafu(Rare Wheat gluten )]
...but those are unfamiliar foods for foreigner...no,in Japan also.
Because both are local foods and not main cooking ingredient normally.
They don't have a strong flavor and strong personality.
But I love this delicate taste.
I bought a large amount of it at department store's basement food floor.

I ate it raw and put it into [Zouni] on the New Year's day.
The food was great! I loooooove it!


I found expensive [Kamaboko],over Yen2,000-.
Usual price of "Kamaboko" is Yen200-~500-.
What's different?
I was on the wave of New Year and got one!


It was delicious accordingly but I was not as thrilled...


I bought [Sakekasu] and made [Amazake] on the selfsame day,not instant.
It was a really good!


I tell the news here.
I had the case in my house.

I bought "Noshi-Mochi".
"Noshi-Mochi" is a big and box-shaped [Mochi] before cut.
It was freshly made and soft I found it!
It must be soooo delicious!!!
I bought it at once and had a delight in eating it.
In my head I said,
"First,I eat soft mochi.Next day I will toast it...mmm"


I left it at home and went out again.
And when I came back...
Half of "Noshi-Mochi" was eaten!
Of course,perpetrator was this guy!
It was not edible portion if I trid to eat it.


For Japanease,"Mochi"is like a symbol of New Year.
I will disappoint no "Mochi" in New year.
But I found the New Year's day opening fine food store!
I bought "Mochi"and...I found speakling [sake] there!


"Sparkling sake" is rapidly gaining in popularity.
But it is rare yet.
I have never try but I have been trying it.
I love champagne.
I think that almost people who love champagne are love "sparkling sake".

I poured "sparkling sake" into my champagne flute as soon as I got home.
It was sooooooooooo delicious!!!!!!!!
I'd like to try all different kinds of "sparkling sake".
(But I'm light drinker.
Unfortunately I'm not able to tasting so much...)
